My car was scratched in transport from ********** to Georgia and SGT ********* ******* whom I paid for the service nor the ******* they contracted to do the transport, ***** Auto ********* will take responsibility for the scratch and take care of it although it is clear via their photos on their website that there was no scratch on the back driver side door when it was picked up and there was a scratch when it was delivered. There was a problem with the delivery person who was extremely unprofessional and rude so it may have even been an intentional scratch. I reported the delivery driver's behavior before I even got the car and saw the scratch. The car was delivered to me on March 11 and I made the initial contact with SGT on 3/15/2023 to convey the issue of the scratch on the car. I made contact via email and phone. They sent me an Hylant insurance binder for ***** Auto and told me to handle it with them. I called and sent info via email to submit the claim to Hylant starting April 4, 2023, with several follow-up communications to Hylant, SGT, and ***** Auto. They were unresponsive until April 19, 2023. Even after seeing the photos that they took and that I took, they somehow claim they are not responsible and refuse to get the scratch fixed on my 2022 *** 740 that they transported to me. There is no reason I should have to call 3 different entities to resolve something that should be simple. They should take responsibility for their faults and resolve this documented issue. The quote to fix the scratch is $1,213 and I need them to pay for the scratch and the inconvenience.
